4 Paws Training

I have a 9 year old and 2 - 6 year olds. This class was perfect for their age group. I wish we had taken a course like this when we got our first dog a year ago. There were things that I even learned in this course. I appreciated that the course was interactive and got the kids up & moving. They really like the upbeat song & hand motions. We all learned some great tips to interact better with not only our dog, but dogs that we meet. I highly recommend taking Mrs. Jones dog safety course.

This course was very fun, informative, and great for kids. This course broke down concepts of dog behaviors, in a simple manner, which was understandable and retainable to children. This training educated on appropriate ways for your child to engage with dogs and how dogs often speak to us, using non-verbal, body language. The course was engaging and provided real life examples that were relatable to all. The catchy song, variety of media, and interactive aspects of this course had my child excited to learn the key concepts discussed. Whether or not you have dogs at home, dog safety is vital for everyone! Kids come in contact with dogs in their neighborhood, friends or family’s home, and many other places. I recommend this training course!

My family of 5 just bought a homestead and the previous owners offered their outdoor farm dogs which we gladly accepted. We have a 1 year old so I am so grateful to have learned some subtle signs that the dogs are uncomfortable since she is the one most likely to lay down on a sleeping dog! My 5 and 4 year old learned so much from this video - as did us parents! The kids loved it. My 4 year old wanted to watch it again and again. The supplemental posters are excellent and will be very useful. The song is catchy. The class was simple enough for my young children to understand but appropriate for all ages, K-12 (in other words, it isn't babyish in any way.) My 5 year old wants me to say he liked the dog masks in the song. Great job! Thank you for helping us to understand our dogs better I also feel better prepared to know what to look for when we have visitors to be safe when the kids have friends over!

The video is perfect for small kids even if they don’t own a pet. It teaches easily identifiable signs that dogs display when they don’t want to be approached. The song and hand gestures are catchy and aide in remembering important dog safety rules. Although intended for my child I enjoyed and learned new safety tips.

I think the instructor does a great job with explaining dog safety for kids!! She really puts her heart into the class and is great for all ages and learning types.

My daughter loved this class! The song was very catchy, and she enjoyed doing the hand movements. It was also a good reminder on dog safety for those who have been around dogs for many years.
